IFA 2014: Lenovo introduces Tab Android tablet to S8, 64-bit

Lenovo has unveiled a new tablet from 8 "called Tab S8. The device is characterised by the presence of an unprecedented (in the Lenovo Android) Intel Atom Z3745 processor quad-core 64-bit. Until now, the Chinese manufacturer, had used the Intel solutions exclusively on its products based on the Microsoft Windows operating system. Tablet PC


The new Tab S8 sees the presence of an 8-inch display with 1920 x 1200 resolution with a pixel density of 283 ppi, with 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, LTE connectivity option (thanks to XMMTM modem 7160 developed by Intel), 8 MegaPixel rear camera with a f/2.2 and 1.6 MegaPixel front.


Has not been declared the battery capacity, however are guaranteed about 7 hours of use, also thanks to the help of the technology Burst Performance Technology that can deliver the maximum processor power only when it is required, offering considerable energy savings in the lighter duties; a solution much like big.LITTLE developed by ARM.


Lenovo Tab S8 will reach the market at a price of $ 199 (without taxes and probably for the WiFi only version), with Android 4.4 KitKat as standard, although the upgrade to Android L should be around the corner, since that will make the 100% new potential of Intel processor used.
